for the Admins: HTML in posts?

Hey y'all -- can the HTML in posts be turned on? Or is there a technical or security reason its off? I'd love to embed a youtube video or something once in awhile but cannot without this.

I'll send a PM to Bob pointing to the thread. I'm not sure what his reasoning was for disabling it, but it probably has something to do with security/curtailing spammers.
