THE 2008 NOMINEES ARE...

Post by Roy Janik »

The nominations for the 2008 AIC Awards have been tallied. Ballots are being emailed out as I type this. If you don't receive your ballot in a few days, email me at AICVOTING AT 23GOE DOT COM or PM me or call me. I can give you a link that will allow you to vote.

Here are the nominees. We tried to shoot for a max of 6 nominees in most categories, though in certain cases that had to be relaxed. As is tradition, we'll be sending out emails to people who were nominated, but didn't make it onto the ballot, so that you can know people out there were thinking about you. Also, Congratulations to everyone who was nominated, whether you're on the ballot off it. This community, and the people in it, are awesome. Never forget that.

Good heavens - this is a bitch! So many deserving folk.

Plus, even having been around now for a year and a half or so. I realize how many of you I have left to meet and/or see perform. Wow, we're huge!

Congrats to all and special thanks to Roy for tallying and Val for organizing!

Ditto - but not without some serious, nail-biting internal debate.

I've never been to a party at Arthur Simone's

I've been to a ton of parties at Robin Goodfellow's though and I find it a shame his house wasn't nominated.

I submitted a write in vote for all of these- Ron Paul, baby. He doesn't get to be president, atleast let him be the best party house.
