Big Stinkin' International Improv Festival

Post by The Van Gogh-Goghs »

Hi,
I'm looking for anyone who could help me find some info on or a contact for the Big Stinkin' International Improv Festival.

I was part of a comedy group that performed there in 1996 and 1999 and would like to find out if any of the publicity photos taken during performances still exist and if it would be possible to get a hold of some shots for the old Scrapbook.

Anyone around here from that era and know who I could contact?

Thanks,
Galen Black

Galen. I think I've got Ed Carter's email somewhere--he was the producer of Big Stinkin'. PM me an I'll get it to you.

Did they have photo technology back then? Where did you keep them? How did people get access to them?

Seriously though, if there are photos from back then, I would love to see them as well.

I went trolling through archive.org, but while it does store some photos, I couldn't find any working ones of the Van Gogh Goghs.

Some good text, though:

It was called painting - hence the Van Gogh moniker.

HI Galen. This is Les. Did you find what you wanted from Big Stinkin? I was a manager of the fest and I am in touch with many of the old guys...
