Julie, I resent it to you. Anyone else have an issue?

I tried to submit my ballot and it told me my session was invalid.

Damn damn damn. Someone else had this problem, too. I have a few theories. One is that maybe if you leave the window open a long time the session times out, but I don't think that's it. The other is that your browser's 'cookie' settings are not set properly.Kathy Rose Center wrote:I got the same message.Aden wrote:I tried to submit my ballot and it told me my session was invalid.
Here's my suggestion. First, try a different browser. If you normally use FireFox, try IE or Safari. If that doesn't work, write down your nominations in a Word doc or text file and email it to me. I'll forward that on to someone else without telling them who sent it, and they'll enter your vote into the system. That way no one will know how you voted (provided that you didn't put your name in the doc file).
Cool? This is frustrating. I want to make sure everyone has their say.

Sorry for all the stupid questions Roy, but if I wish to not make a nomination in a particular category(ies) - Ballotbox requires me to do so. If I type "no answer" will I invalidate my entire ballot?
Also, are full names required or are the names we commonly use in reference to one other adequate? Likewise, are commonly used troupe shortened forms or initials acceptable?
For example - if I was voting for your troupe for something is "Pgraph" acceptable? If I was voting for you individually in some category would "Janik" be enough to convey my intentions or would "Roy Janik" be required in order to be counted.
Again - sorry for all the dopey questions. I just want to get it right.

For the nominations, I'm tallying everything manually, so feel free to type "no answer" or "pass" or whatever. I'll get the idea. I didn't mean to make the question mandatory.mpbrockman wrote:If I wish to not make a nomination in a particular category(ies) - Ballotbox requires me to do so. Yeah, shorten stuff however you like. If I can figure it out, it's fine. Also, are full names required or are the names we commonly use in reference to one other adequate? Likewise, are commonly used troupe shortened forms or initials acceptable?

Groovy - I didn't shorten anything in a manner that wasn't in common usage, if anything I erred on the side of clarity.
I suspect you will find nothing puzzling.
