After talking with a lot of you, looking at the Improv schedule, and finding out when the best time would be for everyone, it looks like the best day for the next Mojo Kickball would be this next, upcoming Sunday at 11am. Earlier so it's not so damnedably hot out.

This will once again be played at Gillis Park, which is South Central.
If you missed the last Mojo Kickball, then this is the one you are going to want to go to. The rules have been fleshed out. Some rules have been taken out and replaced with rules that are much easier to enforce. Plus, "Mayhem's" back and on steroids.
Better bases, better balls, more refs, and hopefully team jerseys. (I'm waiting on shipping).
Less confusion and workshopping and more fun.
Just in case though, bring a colored shirt and a white shirt if you can so we can setup a more cohesive looking set of teams.
Drinks and snacks provided.

HOLY CRAP IT WORKED!!
Oh my god, the new rules totally worked! The game was cohesive and (fairly) clear and it actually felt like a REAL GAME!
Final SCORE:
Ball Pussies: 22
Kickaroos : 14
People were implementing solid strategies and most of them were working fantastically.
Not a single rule will have to be changed. So thanks again to all the key players from Mojo Kickball 1 who helped make the game solid.
The only issue we had was that we were a little low on players, so we played with 10. I think that was my fault for calling the game at 11am. Next time, we'll shoot for a late afternoon thing.
Nevertheless, even undermanned, the game was still solid, and now I want to play this damned game everyday.
Thanks to all the troopers who came out for MojoKickball 2. And thanks again to all the people from the first Mojokickball. You guys are my heroes, but you already knew that.

ach!
I don't think 11am on a Sunday is a completely unreasonable time, but Chris was out of town and I had a film project I got suckered into to work on.
As far as the Hangover Gang, I'd imagine the saturday night party was something of an exception
11am = Church Time
Me = Church Hate
11am = Church Enemy
11am = Me Friend

I could! I had a stop-watch this time!sara_anm8r wrote: Kudos to those who came to ver 2.0 -- who were you?? And could EH look MORE like a coach than he did last time???
Plus, I played! My man Ajit did an awesome job of umpiring. I even had a penalty counted against me and had to do a "sit-down" (added in this version, its like a time-out and it's hilarious).
And afterwards my team victory-drenched me in water.
