Fun links on the internet

Let's post a bunch of websites to waste our time at. I'll start:

Unicorns! Unicorns! Unicorns! And the midi version of Mariah Carey's dreamlover playing in the background!

These people have a nice slogan

I had a bunch of nutty, painfully sad websites on my old work computer. Alas...

If you're looking for the motherload, check out Portal of Evil. It's like fark, but for insane people.

My favorite adorable time-waster is http://www.ferryhalim.com/orisinal/. All of the games are so intuitively designed.

I also like the uncyclopedia: http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Main_Page The content-free encyclopedia that anyone can edit!

There's always the good-ole Best of Craigslist.

For instance (and seriously), EVERYONE should read this one.

It's eye-opening, and wonderfully written, and concise.

Yeah.

OK you, that's uncalled for! 8)

But I do stand by a statement made long ago that the Bunny Survival Tests is one of the greatest websites ever.

You know, every now and then I remember sites I'd forgotten and they bring many hours of joy.
Here are several such sites:

Mr. Cranky's Movie Reviews
Who else would describe X-Men 3 thusly: "X-Men 3 is utterly witless, soulless and utilizes the kind of music that, were it played in an elevator, would inspire riders to shatter their skulls against the walls to seek relief."

The Straight Dope
Where else could you get the true answers to such age-old questions as "Who invented tampons?", "Did Hitler only have one testicle?", or "What causes 'piss shiver?'"

How Stuff Works
Believe it or not, this site tells you how things work. Everything from DVDs to Krispie Kreme to lightsabers to bowling pinsetters.
Interestingly, this week they had a new article called: How Improv Everywhere Works
"I do."
