Rue Brutalia!
But, come on, a sketch featuring Tom Waits giving the commencement address for the Juliard School of Music? How could they not be my favorite?

You work your life away and what do they give?

I kept worrying that my cackling backstage was going to disrupt the sketch. That piece was right up my alley.kbadr wrote:a sketch featuring Tom Waits giving the commencement address for the Juliard School of Music? How could they not be my favorite?

As soon that sketch started, I began thinking, "Kareem better be seeing this, because they specifically wrote this for him!"kbadr wrote:But, come on, a sketch featuring Tom Waits giving the commencement address for the Juliard School of Music? How could they not be my favorite?
Rue Brutalia was freakin' awesome, along with IfE's Cochise and Look Cookie (which I am currently recapping). Though, who knows what'll be in store for us tonight...

Galapagos pulled off one of the best invocation openings I've ever seen. It's totally changed my point of view on how to do that particular opening. The rest of their show was stellar as well. Thanks for broadening my mind Galapagos!
PS - I wish I could have seen Look Cookie. Judging by the audience reactions I could hear backstage, it sounded like they were killing.

I'm hoping that videos of the shows that I didn't get to see (and the shows that I'd love to see again) will be posted!vine311 wrote:Galapagos pulled off one of the best invocation openings I've ever seen. ...
