calling all improv fans - meeting!

so, i'm on this network of folks who enjoy ImprovEverywhere. most of you have heard of this before at the very least, famous for such missions as:
no pants subway
frozen grand central
best buy
happy birthday, ted!
food court musical
(if you're unfamiliar with them, now is an opportune time to check em out on youtube)

they have local chapters in every major city across the US. i am now heading up the austin group (175 members) and we're getting things off the ground. hey howdy hey it takes some movement to get some action, right? anyway, below is my post the group about a meeting we're having this saturday and YOU SHOULD GET IN ON TOO! please come, bring a friend....or five. contact me with any questions, yo.

i'm totally psyched to be part of this group of talented/interested in being talented improv folk. really, i am. as far as i've seen, for one reason or another we haven't pulled any successful missions. i for one would like to change these stats! what better way to accomplish this than to put our genius together and have a meeting in real life to discuss as a group what we'll do next?! at a large venue like....a public park or something, central-ish and on a weekend afternoon so as many participants can make it as possible to contribute their ideas... what do you think? my hope is that we get this thing GOING, it can only be INCREDIBLE when we pool our ideas and efforts.

when? august 16th, 2:30pm - 3:30pm

where? shipe park, 201 East 45th Street, Austin, Texas

who? YOU and anyone else who might be even slightly interested

why? so we can create a list of missions we'd like to have a go at and set up details to start one off!

how will you find us? simple: i'll be standing by my light blue bike as close to the picnic tables as possible, helmet in hand. i'll be looking friendly and sharp, as usual. =0)

i'll also take notes at the meeting and post them here afterwards as a reminder of what ideas we're interested in, what we thought might be really tricky but worth a try anyway, etc. for those who are unable to attend the actual meeting.
