Hello Folks

Post by julie_m »

Just moved to Austin as of about a month ago, after I finished my degree in Minnesota. (Please don't remark on the weather. It's not that hot.) I understand some of you are hooked through Brave New Workshop...very cool to see a name I know. I interned for a fellow there. (Leaned against a chair once that had his mainstage actor jacket on it...got quite a verbal lashing. They're finicky ones.)

I'd love to get through the walls of the fortress of the theater scene here. It's awesome to see people off their bums doing some more improv! Good luck to you all in future shows, I'll be sure to check some out.

Yeah, and the fortress is like a really nice sand castle built by some hippies with a scabby beach dog. Come on in!

Mark, where's your zombie alert?

I myself am girding against neocons and Hottentots (oh yes, they're still out there) as well as the day when all the 37" Batman figures at Toys 'b' Us come to life and march against us.

Damn, those things are large and menacing.
