PGraph's 150th show and Villainy debut this weekend!

And that's that! Thanks to everyone who came out over the course of the run... especially Andreas, Jon Bolden, Jon Clinkenbeard, and David Zimmerman.

Look for the return of Villainy at Out of Bounds.

So much fun!
There were some especially gruesome moments in the show tonight. Oh, lovely villainy.

And we have three new original formats in the works, I kidd you not! It's very exciting. They are all very different from each other, and even from what we've done before.

The blank stage is ours to conquer, and we'll do it our way.

Great run everyone! A very interesting and dramatic format. Touching at times (Ernst the Sewer Master) and extremely chilling at others (Kareem's feudal tyrant...can't remember his name). Looking forward to future themes.

my thursdays keep getting messed up and i kept missing Villany but took consolation in "next week"
hell! have you kids got some good recordings?

King Howard was his name, and I had a recap on the improv blog.

Ernst was my personal favorite, because it was such a sad story. I cried, for crying out loud. If only the lights would've faded like I wanted them to, it would've been absolutely perfect.

The final show was absolutely gruesome/hilarious. Kaci's Lithuanian President was the most brutal/funniest thing I've ever seen: stabbing people according to the senses in the "classic Lithuanian fashion" (like stabbing somebody in the mouth, eyes, ears, nose, and heart), and the line, "Proud country of the desert...?" got me in stitches. And that said character had his way with a bunch of bald women after they took over the country with Val's character. Top notch stuff!

There's a passable recording of the first show, which was a fun one.

We'll be doing it for OoB, so you have 1 more chance.

We've also been toying with the idea of auctioning off a format for a fundraiser show--highest bidder gets to pick which of our formats we'll perform.

"Tamude" has to be nominated as one of the greatest improv moments i've ever seen. i couldn't stop laughing for a good 30 seconds after Roy pulled that gem out of his hat.

other favorite moments:

"You're walking a tight rope!"
"I know, it's how i get back to the helicopter!"

"Oh, gee, i'm so disappointed I wasn't chosen for rape!"

"May I cup your bosom? I'm going to cup your bosom."

great show, guys. glad i got to catch at least one of them.

The strangest/most awesome thing is that after doing some research today, Kareem found that Lithuania does indeed have both a president and a prime minister.

In the show, I said as much, but I was just, you know, lying and/or improvising.

well...maybe last night's show took place in some not-too-distant future, where Lithuania has suffered a minor post-apocalyptic ecological meltdown and is thus a desert wasteland where once there were many small lakes and fertile soil. the moderate highlands keep the area arid now and the few hilly regions are now imposing sand dunes.

keep your chin up, Beeler! at any moment, the cruel whims of fate could turn your topographical error into FACT!
