I did a wokshop in cleveland two weeks ago and tried to bring it to them.

They already knew it.
If you disrespect your character, or play it just for laughs, it will sell some gags, but it's all technique.

They just made a Fred Schneider reference in an episode of Family Guy that I'm watching.

He's making a comeback.
