Post by ChrisTrew.Com »

There it is, peeps! We rap, we play, etc. etc.
$10 a person.
If you've taken it before, $5-10 a person, pay what you wish.
If you prepay before Friday June 20th, I'll put you on the list for the Record Release Date Release Date show that night at the Art Authority.

Spread the word! People who've taken this before, chime in!

Highly enjoyable, unlike anything else you'll do as an improviser.

Let us pray

If you come to the workhop you can rap about Warcraft or shell collecting or whatever nerdy thing you absolutely do with fervor in private and absolutely claim you don't in public. Or, you could be cool and rap about cats. Whatevs...

Wish I had seen this thread before I fucking said shit in the other one, but its still grand that this exists.

I'll probably private message you or talk to you in real life or whatever, but I was wondering if I could pay the ten bucks and audit the class.

Its not that I don't have skills or that I'm shy or Other Gay Shit, but I do have problems with rhythm that stem from ear problems when I was a child. I've figurtively ruined careers by screaming rappers' lyrics back at them off beat (they were shitty lyrics, but that's not the point), I nearly didn't get laid at prom from stepping on this bitches' toes, and I'm almost positive my metronome is trying to kill me.

Still, I love hip hop and would like to learn techniques to help me when I'm changing lyrics to songs in my car, and it also may help my brain respond faster in improv. So, yeah, is it cool to pay the money and observe awkwardly from afar?

You haven't lived till you've seen Rachel Madorsky get all up in someone's Kool-Aid with her rhymes.

Thanks, everybody. That was really fun, and I was glad I got to show my brother why I love this community so much.

Still my favorite class of all time. Better than Geodynamics. Rachel and Scott where like gods on the imaginary mic.
