Maestro - May 27th w/ your hosts: Roy and Wes

Post by Wesley »

Roy and I have requested to direct next week's Maestro, and until I hear otherwise I assume we are. If you want to play, please e-mail Andy and sign up.

I'll post some of my ideas for the show over the week so that people can brush up on the rules and technicals of a given game. I'm sure we'll be doing some stuff we've discussed on the boards and experimenting with other things, too.

I can't make the jam this week, but I will help run Maestro warm-ups and we will go over some of the games there.

We sold out last week. Let's do it again and kick some serious ass!

Yeah, I'm super excited. It'll be Wes and my debut as directors without the safety net of those more experienced. So the more experienced players we have to counter balance us, the better.

I don't want to overthink this Maestro. I want everyone involved to just have fun.

A few games I haven't seen in a while that I would like to try this weekend:

Oscar Moments (normal scene, broken up occasionally by a player making their grab for the 'oscar').
DVD or forward/reverse
Stunt Doubles, if I can remember the tricks to making it work well.

and much much more.

one of the things that makes this game funny is to call for a stunt double for an extremely mundane task - like brushing your hair - and have them do it in a big way, as if it were dangerous.
