i wish i could put my girly parts in a jar sometimes, and just put that on a shelf.

i've begun to seriously wonder how much dealing with periods and birth control affects women professionally. it's part of my musings about why there are so few women in math and science at the highest levels . . . but that i should leave for another thread.
