"How To Be A 30 Second Superstar Commercial Audition Workshop"
This workshop is designed to show you how to improve your commercial audition abilities by using the improv skills that you already have. While teaching in Los Angeles at The Second City Training Center, Tom Booker has taught this workshop many, many times. Tom Booker himself has booked more than 75 commercials (AFLAC, Nike, Sprint, Off!, NBA, Pop Secret, etc., etc.) and his mother is very proud of him. Do you want your mother to be proud of you? Then let Tom Booker show you how!
Through a series of different types of auditions and by watching the actors work on video, we will be discussing and analyzing the student's work. Students will learn to be more comfortable in front of the camera, have more confidence and most importantly have fun with the audition process! Each workshop meets for two 3-hour sessions and cost $100.
Two different sections are currently being offered: Section A meets on Thursday, June 19th and June 26th from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.. Section B meets on Tuesday, June 24th and Tuesday, July 1st from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. To sign up for either section or if you have any questions please go to www.TheInstitutionTheatre.com, or call (512) 895-9580 or email Tom Booker at Tom.Booker@yahoo.com.

Here are some quotes from some of Tom Booker's former students:
"Tom Booker taught me to relax and realize that commercials aren't brain surgery. Once you familiarize yourself with what casting directors are looking for, you can then rely on your natural instincts as an actor. And because of that I've booked two national commercials in the last two months."
-Eric Fillipkowski
"I would recommend Tom's workshop to anyone. Since taking the commercial workshop with Tom Booker I have booked national commercials for both Ford and McDonald's. Upon hearing the news that I was cast, the first person I called was my mother...the next person I called was Tom Booker!"
-Andy Ostroff
"Thanks to Tom Booker, I've booked more jobs and gotten more callbacks at auditions. His last name isn't "Booker" for nothing!"
-Ronni Valentine
