To Jam or Not To Jam

Post by acrouch »

We're working on resolving the upstairs theater and classroom AC problems, but I don't know if it'll happen by tonight. If not, it's way too hot to try and Jam up there. And the downstairs is booked.

So, be warned potential jammers. More updates to come.

Thank you for the warning. It costs $10 in gas for me to drive down there and back!

Ah, but it's worth it!

To avoid the heat, I've already made other plans involving foot tub full of ice-water, an oscillating fan, and a large, swaying palm frond. Oh, and a tall glass of ice-cold lemonade.

I don't know how people settled this area prior to the invention of central air.

I'll see you next week!

While progress is progressing on the AC front, we definitely won't have coolness by this evening. It's pretty warm upstairs and I wouldn't recommend sustained improvisation in such conditions. Maybe you could do an abbreviated Jam and then break for cold beverages.

If someone's at The Hideout, a sign left on the door to the upstairs theatre informing jammers of the situation would be welcome.

About 15 people showed up and most of them came to my place where we improvised in the living room. If the AC isn't fixed next time and temperatures are high, I'll gladly offer my place again. The only thing is: 15 people is the maximum.

The first improv Roy and I did outside the confines of our Hideout classes was in our friend's living room. It's a grand tradition.
