AIC @ Barton Springs, Take Two!!!

Hey all you AIC imps!!

This weekend at Barton Springs Pool was such a big hit, we are doing it again next weekend. Let's all meet at the Barton Springs swimmin' hole next Saturday June 14th from 12-2pm for some fun in the sun. Come early or stay late, if that works better for you.

Wear your swimsuit and some sunscreen; bring a towel and/or blanket to sit on, and the icey cold beverage of your choice in a resealable plastic container. No snacks are allowed in the pool area. You should bring some cash. There is a $3 fee to get in, $3 for parking (you may want to carpool or avoid paid parking by going in the back entrance off Robert E. Lee Road) and they have a snack bar outside the pool. Here is the address...

Call first if it's a rainy day, but I'm planning to go -- probably a little early and leave a bit early. You can call me if you like... pm me for my number... but once I'm in the water, I won't have access to my phone.

We will meet where we ended up last time... on the top of the hill opposite the main entrance in the 1/2 shade of a big tree. I will try to bring a sign of some sort, as well as a few cheap floats. Amy brought floats this past time and that was awesome.

YES! It is blazingly hot outside, so come cool off at Barton Springs Pool this weekend! I hope to go from 11:30a-1:30p, but there should be folks there from Noon-2pm. Bring stuff!! (see top of this thread).
