Chris,

It's the Baby Oil that makes my chest hair glisten. Am I the only Body Builder in the Austin Improv Community?

I know it's tough... but please try to keep your shirt on. You're embarrassing the rest of us. We just can't compete. I just can't take another self-esteem nose-dive like that.

Thanks!

And really, if we're giving bonus points to the first person on stage who can tell us what Tom Booker's tattoo is, and the best use of it in a scene, we don't want people cheating.

Hey Yall'z, I'm startin' to get excited for this show! Gonna be funz!

Still need people to support the show. If you're available Saturday night, and can help us out, with tech or whatever, that would be absolutely fabulous!! If we get enough support, we can even have a scorekeeper, and won't that be elegant!

I've got Jon Bolden on box/door, who else wants to help out??

Okay, now that was an insane and yet fun show last night. Kudos to the directors--especially Aden for doing great at her first turn directing. Kudos to our out-of-town guest, Greg for playing and for...crap...I forgot her name...my bad, my bed...Geneva? Shit, I got that wrong...I just know it...Anyway, congrats to her, a student of Booker's who made it to the final round in her first show!

Now get back to your boating and barbecuing...

Pardon the interruption, but Tom Booker's students seem to be ridiculoustependencaclular in many regards; I'm working as a PA on a film project and one of the strongest canidates for the main role is a student of his.

Actually, two of the strongest actrix's were of improv background, and one of them is being trained at a class/location I had never heard of before... not that this is amazing, considering how long I've been around, but still, its pretty awesome that there are hidden networks of improvisation in Austin... hidden from me, at least, and I'm trying to see as much as possible here, so that just boasts the strength of the Austin improv community.

Hey all,

I had a great time last night! You made my first Maestro so fun. I'm glad I came out to play -- you are all fabulous and very kind to a first-timer. Thank you.

And I agree. Aden did a great job. I think she directed all of my scenes. Girl, you made me look good.

Yes, Tom Booker is a SUPER improv teacher. He left the game too early. We didn't get to see his chest hair last night.

I'm back. So, who held the tech fort down while I was gone and how did they do?

I take it from the posts the show went over well.

Gene from Unfurled did a sweet job on tech. Booker joined him in the booth after Marc mercilessly ;) cut him loose. Then the Tom booker show began. It was a riot.
