Please take care of the Ka-Baam set

Post by Asaf »

Hey guys,

So one of the groups that performed in last night's Threefer used water pistols and as a result, the beautiful panels that Kaci Beeler painted need retouching. Please be careful in regards to things like that on the set.

Also, be careful if lean on the panels on the door side, as those are painted on canvases.

Thanks.

As a side note:

Holy crap, Beeler! I got my first look at this Friday night and you have duly impressed the hell out of me. I had no idea this was in your repertoire!

I want to clarify on behalf of The Starter Kit that we did ask for Kaci's permission to use water firearms earlier that afternoon. We're not careless and the last thing we would want to do is ruin an awesome set. I even ran down the street to buy a roll of paper towels after Kaci requested some at the end of the Threefer. There was a pretty intensive clean-up effort after the show to get the stage dry for the Double Barrel (thank you to all who joined us and helped out).

In the future, please contact the group in question directly before creating a topic on a public forum.

My intention was not to wag a finger at any one group or person. I apologize for making statements that seemed at all venomous in that way.

Let's just say that in moving forward, we are careful about certain things that we do on stage so as to not damage the Ka-Baam set that we are looking to use for future runs.
