herrherr, you can come over to my place and watch it if you want, but basically, here's what happened according to me: future jack decides to live with kate and help raise aaron, and kate is happy about that, but she is somehow, we don't know how, helping sawyer with something, even though sawyer was left on the island. then jack visits hurley, who has not been taking his medication, and hurley shakes jack's beliefs by giving him a note from dead charlie that said, "you're not supposed to raise him, jack." anyway, jack is also upset about seeing more visions of his father, and he's also upset that kate was keeping secrets from him about helping sawyer, and he finally takes to the pills and the drinking, so we see the beginning of jack's downward spiral before he's split up with kate and crying to her at an airport saying they need to go back to the island. oh, and claire is missing on the island. sawyer found aaron lying by himself in the jungle, but there was no sign of claire. miles told sawyer that he saw claire just wander off into the woods with aaron and a guy she called dad in the middle of the night.

Wasn't it Jack's dad who Claire wandered off with in the jungle, who has (If I remember correctly) been revealed in previous seasons as Claire's dad as well? The Brigadier wrote:herrherr, you can come over to my place and watch it if you want, but basically, here's what happened according to me: future jack decides to live with kate and help raise aaron, and kate is happy about that, but she is somehow, we don't know how, helping sawyer with something, even though sawyer was left on the island. then jack visits hurley, who has not been taking his medication, and hurley shakes jack's beliefs by giving him a note from dead charlie that said, "you're not supposed to raise him, jack." anyway, jack is also upset about seeing more visions of his father, and he's also upset that kate was keeping secrets from him about helping sawyer, and he finally takes to the pills and the drinking, so we see the beginning of jack's downward spiral before he's split up with kate and crying to her at an airport saying they need to go back to the island. oh, and claire is missing on the island. sawyer found aaron lying by himself in the jungle, but there was no sign of claire. miles told sawyer that he saw claire just wander off into the woods with aaron and a guy she called dad in the middle of the night.

yes...and then Bo and Hope were captured by Victor Kiriakis who then switched their faces (a la "Face-Off") before Roman and Marlana could rescue them. Now the only person that can save them is John Black.acrouch wrote:Wasn't it Jack's dad who Claire wandered off with in the jungle, who has (If I remember correctly) been revealed in previous seasons as Claire's dad as well?

I am pretty sure history has disproved this over and over.
If you disrespect your character, or play it just for laughs, it will sell some gags, but it's all technique.
