Maestro 101
Classes, training, and other opportunities for artistic and professional development.
Moderators: arclight, happywaffle, bradisntclever
I'm under the assumption that it'll work much like the current arrangement - Jam in the classroom 7-9, Maestro workshop in the theatre 7-9, mock show 9-10. Mock show would even be a handy way for directors to get some experience.

More clarifications for those still confused or mutinous:
No one is asking anyone to pay to be in Maestro.
We're guaranteeing that the people that do take the workshop will get cast and will support regularly for two months. So that's four or five players each week from the class pool.
And the other seven to nine slots will get cast the same old way. True, it'll be a little tighter because of the workshop folks, but odds are you will still get to play almost as often as you'd like. And if not, and you're craving more Maestro, maybe you'll take the workshop to be part of the guaranteed cast for a couple months. And it will be good for Maestro because it will have more energy and focus channeled into it, and good for the Hideout because we'll have a little more money to make things work around here, and good for the teachers because they will be paid to teach you improv that they are passionate about, and good for you because you'll get access to a cheap workshop and focussed stage time.
Sound fair?
