Primary voting:
Clinton - 52%, worth 65 delegates
Obama - 48%, worth 61 delegates

Caucus:
Clinton - 44%, worth 30 delegates
Obama - 56%, worth 37 delegates

Superdelegates
Clinton - 12 pledges of support
Obama - 9 pledges of support
14 remaining undecided

Thus the totals for Texas are, after all this rigamarole:
Clinton - 107 delegates
Obama - 107 delegates
14 superdelegates still undecided, and probably waiting for the convention

It's a tie! They both win! Or they both lose! Or we're all confused! Something like that.
Oh good. Then everything is as it should be. For a moment there, I thought one of 'em was gonna pull ahead as the victor.
Okay, that bit of dry wit cracked me up. Thanks.

Here's how Hillary can come back and win... sPIN baby!!!
Hillary must go back to being a person that first and foremost women and white voters will identify with. She had those votes and she's given a lot of them back. She's tried to capture Obama's voters and has gotten off message. She will lose everytime on the Change message to Obama. He's branded himself with that great message.

Specifically, "In 2008, the United States of America will elect it's first president who works from sun up to sun down, puts the children to bed, makes breakfast in the morning and goes off to work at a job that people told her she couldn't ever aspire to, when she was a kid."

Now that will be enough right there to hammer home 5,000 times between now and to the end.

Every woman can identify with that. And quite a few men do as well.

watch our for the lizard voters!

I almost forgot about how Hillary can spin people's brains to fear! ... This a great Karl Rove trick that works because it's reaching the lizard part of our brain we can't control.

We have to spin...fast.
You don't wonder whether you should get in iPod or go to Starbucks...you just do...
Then seemingly out of nowhere Facebook.com comes in and has not only caught myspace.com but is actually ahead of facebook.com in many ways that matter.
Facebook let in other companies applications to run in facebook.
Specifically, "In 2008, the United States of America will elect it's first president ...
It seems counter-intuitive to ask a former -resident ...who is your husband...to take a break for 10 days...but he needs to get out of the spotlight.
Everything changes in retrospect, but the lives of American's depend on responsible actions now and then we bring our people home as soon as is humanly possible.

I had a dream last night where Barack Obama and I hung out a lot.

He was pretty damned cool, so now I'm considering voting for him. If I do, it will be the first time I've ever voted for a 'major party' candidate. Crazy that I'm tempted to do something like that.

Bad feeling

Post by starkserious »

I got a bad feeling that the Republicans and McCain will work to destroy Obama's reputation with terrible ads and secret campaigns to discredit him. What Hillary is doing is now is nothing compared to what the Rep. will do this fall, maybe even this Summer.
