Looking for Classroom Space in North Austin

Post by smerlin »

A group of people have hired me to teach them a 6 week improv class, but they all live up north and don't want to come downtown or down south to the places I currently teach.

Does anyone know of classroom/rehearsal/studio space in north Austin that you can rent by the hour or for the evening at a reasonable rate?

Hotels are too exensive, libraries are only for public/nonprofit groups, and yoga studios usually have classes into the evenings.

Don't public schools sometimes rent out rooms for stuff like this?

You work your life away and what do they give?

183ish. These guys work at the tech companies up north, I think. They are still in Austin, but the idea of coming downtown on a weeknight is foreign.

I could host you guys for a small fee. Just kidding. I don't really want to do that. What about the north YMCA? It's off Parmer and McNeil, very close to me.
