Does anybody know anything about this? Like how somebody might get to attend this debate? It's probably next to impossible, huh? Shawn?

I want those tixs too. I've seen Clinton speak in Ithaca, and she was awesome. I want to see Obama speak.

"Debate Tickets? You'll Have to Wait...
I've been getting some emails asking about how to get tickets for next week's scheduled Texas debate between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. The answer for right now is, wait.
The debate will be at the LBJ Presidential Library on the UT campus. Logistics on ticketing have yet to be worked out between the hosts - the Texas Democratic Party, Univision and CNN. Once we hear anything about snagging some tickets, I'll be sure to let you know. Perhaps I'll try to get some and put them on stubhub. You think that would fly?

Scratch that. Now, there will be 100 tickets available to the public. Although, the article doesn't say how those tickets will be distributed. I'd love to go.nadine wrote:I want those tixs too. I've seen Clinton speak in Ithaca, and she was awesome. I want to see Obama speak.

Just got an email from the dems - here is the place to go and register. You have to be registered to vote, though.

While I would love to see this too, I'm just curious. Do you think that it's a given that this will happen? It's not like either Clinton or Obama are free of weak spots to be exploited - and McCain's fairly quick on his feet for a codger (with a good staff).beardedlamb wrote:i can't wait to see obama or clinton destroy mccain in debates later in the year.
I'm about 90% sure it's the Democrat's year, but this is why debates are tricky. The risk/reward ratio increases dramatically the farther in front you are. I don't see them necessarily working to the Democrats' advantage.
