someone asked me so i'll tell you. there are 3 oysters that we can order:
12.35/dz - Effingham Inlets from British Columbia
15.35/dz - Kumomoto from Kumomoto Bay in Japan
17.35/dz - Belon or "European Flats" from Washington
I prefer oysters raw when they're good, and I thoroughly enjoyed the Effingham's raw more than the others. The Japanese one's were lovely and buttery, not as good raw but would probably be more ideal for cooking. You know, I just didn't care for the Belons. Sure, they were bigger, but not as tasty as the other two. The Belons had more of a lemony metallic taste, which some people do love (see the price) but not me.
I will order the Effinghams by default, unless told otherwise.
Oysters people! Get your gourmet oysters!
contact me by midnight tonight!

The Oyster Party will be on this Sunday, May 7th at my house. Let's gather around Noon to One pm. Sure, well be drinking wine early but there will be tons of great oysters, cheese, and bread to be had. Please, only come if you: (1) bring a bottle of white winw, (2) cheese & bread together (3) money for oysters or more importantly (4) help me transport them to my house. oysters ain't cheap so i want to be sure it's fair for the people who paid versus the people who share versus the people that mooch, you know who you are. but that aside there will be over 100 oysters at my house. yay! for shucking!

Dammit, Jay! We are having Improv Play Day at that time -- Sunday, May 7th at 2pm. Eric is debuting his MojoKickball and I've already committed myself and my coolers to that event.Evilpandabear wrote:The Oyster Party will be on this Sunday, May 7th at my house. Let's gather around Noon to One pm.
