From Austin360:
'Draw, Iron Artists, Draw.'In the spirit of talent competitions like 'Iron Chef' and 'Project Runway,' the Austin Museum of Art has invited four Austin cartoon artists — Dat Boi Drew, Kristin Hogan (creator of the comic 'Dead Squirrel Girl'), Rob Osborne (creator of '1000 Steps to World Domination') and Rivkah (creator of manga comic 'Steadybeat') — to create comics based on audience suggestions — in just one hour. The audience will choose the 'Iron Artist Champion' while improv comedians from Coldtowne Theater serve as master of ceremonies and referee. 7 p.m. Austin Museum of Art, 823 Congress Ave. $5. 495-9224, www.amoa.org. — Jeanne Claire van Ryzin

Nice! That sounds like a lot of fun.

The museum was specifically doing it as a promotion for the Lichtenstein exhibit but it seems they were inspired to do more events like this in the future.

I am glad it was fun to watch. It was a blast to MC with Jastroch and Drew did a great job of projecting the action on the big screen so that everyone could see.
