light booth policy

Post by Evilpandabear »

i bought a case logic for the cds in the light booth. now there is no more need for cases in a cluttered basket, just flip through some pages of cd's eyeing 8 at a time. please utilize this as it makes everything easier to see and a LOT less cluttered.

every cd that was blank i threw away in the dumpster. sorry.

every cd case i kept for myself.

(consider it a service charge for not charging AIC for the case logic)

if you want you cd case back, let me know and we'll work something out.

BAM. next i'll be re-wiring the light booth to help eliminate the clutter of wires.

then i'll eventually get to the green room, and like lawrence i too shall take no prisoners.

When you say "blank" do you mean CD-R or do you mean unlabelled?

unlabelled. none were of a single type. there were about 20 unlabelled cds broken down into 6 brands, so not one lone unlabelled cd was distinguishable from another. if i ended up throwing away something of a significant value then please PM me or post here to set an appointment for a duel.

I bought a whopper of a cd box that has been sitting on the shelf un-used since I bought it. I guess I should come get it and bring it home where it will get some use.

i think throwing them in them in the dumpster was too hasty,

tossing them out could have at least waited until after the meeting where you could have announced your re-organization and let pople claim any unmarked cd's.

or just left them in a pile in the green room with a note that gave everyone a week or two to listen to them or look at them on a computer to claim them.

my $.02

while i admit my actions could be classified as too hasty, let me just say that it takes less than 60 seconds to label a cd.

if your cd was unlabelled, i have no idea why you wouldn't label it to distinguish it from the 4 or 5 other blank cds of the exact same brand all thrown together in the vile pile that lived in the basket.

and to further correct myself i made the mistake earlier of saying i threw them in the dumpster. i threw the cds in the trash in the hallway, so if you feel truly ambitious you can stick your arm into that trash can tonight at the jam, label it, stick it in the cd folder, curse my name, put a hex on me, kidnap my son, or seek vengeance anyway you deem fit and proper. just be sure to scatter the ashes.

I want to add that I will finally be getting around to cleaning up the Green Room immediately following the AIC meeting. If you have anything of value in the Green Room, best let me know. This includes props, costumes, etc.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A SHOW THAT IS CURRENTLY IN A RUN AT THE HIDEOUT GET YOUR PROPS THE HELL OUT OF THE GREEN ROOM.

I will take all unidentified things, that do NOT have a place at the Hideout to my house. If it is not picked up by May 14th, I will throw it ALL away.

THERE ARE A WHOLE BUNCH OF CHAIRS AND BENCHES WITHOUT NAMES OR LABELS IN THE THEATER. I WILL BE SETTING THESE ON FIRE AT 1PM UNLESS THEY ARE CLAIMED.

I wish someone would set me on fire.
Or claim me.
Or claim they set me on fire.

You work your life away and what do they give?
You're only killing yourself to live
