New From Chicago

Post by Jon Clinkenbeard »

hey, I moved down here from Chicago and i don't have any improv friends yet for shows and troupes and board game night.

I would like to rectify this with your aid.

I am fairly attractive if that's your deciding factor.

Welcome to the fold.

See shows at Coldtowne Theater and The Hideout Theater.
Attend the (free) jam on Tuesday nights at The Hideout. Come say hi. We're all friendly.

Hola. Arthur might think you're a robot, but I think not.

I am going out on a limb and guess that you were not named Munkyhed. If I am mistaken, my apologies. If I am correct, then what should we call you if we see you in person?

Please accept this personal invitation to come check out the troupe I am in this Thursday. We are called Junk and we will be at Coldtowne at 8PM.

I am the fat one.

This Chicago person brings up a good point about recent lack of board game night.

I believe it will return very soon, however.

Play a board game against a spam robot?

You said a mouthful, brother. My "regular" night is Fridays at Great Hall, which, as you can imagine, leads to it being quite irregular indeed. I have so many goddamn unplayed games here that need some love. Let's make it happen.

I am in for a game night again - those were fun! Though sadly I will be out of town Saturday-Tuesday...

What's your name, munkyhed? I'm Jeff. Up there above me are, like, Matt and Marc and Arthur and I think I saw Shannon, and there's also Kareem, and I'm forgetting somebody, probably.

I have just recently become self-aware.

I have named myself "Jon"

I played with pH and Yorick mostly in Chi.
(those were my most professional teams.)

maybe i will wear my robo-Frampton costume when i go out to see shows. actually, i wear a bitchin' skeleton jacket a lot when i go out.
