I think I'm going to go to this one. What time does it all start?

You work your life away and what do they give?
You're only killing yourself to live

It starts at 9:45 but get there early or buy tickets online. It will sell out for sure.

If you want to compete, show up around 9:30 or so at the Downtown Drafthouse. Go up the stairs to the dudes at the table and give them your name and a CD with your music. It's a good idea to have your music pre-edited to the 1 min maximum and have that be the only song on the CD. It just makes things easier on the folks running the show. Then you go and sit in the crowd and wait for your name to be called. That's all there is to it.

Jason - thank you for the info. Competing is free too ! Kereem, PLEASE, you have to now ! Also, there are a lot of people who bring their friends (hint, hint) and they have signs with them that they hold up to root for their friends on stage.
