extra bike?

Post by themoss »

I just walked outside and my means of transportation has been stolen from right in front of my door.
does anyone have an extra bike?
I am very short so I can not ride giant bicycles.
if you have a tiny person bike I could buy off you for cheap or borrow till I can afford to buy a bike again...that would be awesome.
saddest girl. :(

I have a bike you can have for free. The frame may be a little big. Also the tires need replacing. I would sell you the lock that goes with the bike for ten bucks.

can't believe someone robbled you!

I had every bike I ever owned my entire life stolen from me. It's always the saddest thing... I don't buy bikes anymore... that's why I'm fat... that's the ONLY reason I'm fat.

sorry to hear about your bike... I'll look around my neighborhood and maybe steal one for you. I think I have bike-theft karma... I can get away with it.

They ain't totally free, but the Yellow Bike Project still exists over on East 51st near Austin Studios. They refurbish old discarded bikes and make them good again. I bought Elana a small-person-sized bike there for $20, and they threw in a nice kryptonite lock as a bonus. They're open Wed-Fri evenings from 6-10 pm, and Sat from 1-5pm.

I almost never ride my bike. If you take it, I will want to ride it and get exercise*. Then I'll have a great excuse of why I didn't exercise.

*I look forward to the day when I can spell 'exercise' correctly without the aid of spell-check.

Did you get a bike yet?
