New AIC Flyer (a la the ad we sent to the Travesty)

Post by sara farr »

Hey AIC,

We sent a very similar ad like this to Jill to put in the Travesty.

I thought I'd post a HIGH RES, ready to print 7.5" X 10" version here in case any of you guys (including the Advertising Comittee?) wanted to print it out and put them in the box office or pass them around.

High Res AIC Flyer - Double

Updated (individual) flyer looks like this...

Ciao,

looks sharp sara. maybe a smaller flyer would be a more efficient use of paper though, perhaps 2 per 8.5''x11''??? and print them out on loud obnoxoiusly colored paper. BUT damn!! I dig the new flyers!

I love the idea, but as Jay said, there should be some design changes to a new size and something that will print well on bright paper. I PM'd you some ideas, but I love the ad and I would love to see this be the next flyer we produce. We're starting to run out of the old ones, so this is good timing.

Yes, these new ads ARE designed to fit 2 per 8.5x11" page. I said that they are 7.5"x10" bc that leaves 1/2 inch boarder on the edges, making it easier to print cleanly on the average joe's printer.

You can see the two-per-page by clicking on the HI-Res version link. But, it takes such a long time to download, that I put a smaller & single version here, too, so it would load quickly and you guys could comment on it.

My mind fills with excitement froth when I looked at this flyer and imagined all the new people it would attract. I'm the most serious dude right now, too.

Ah, yes. I didn't open the hi-res big boy at work before I posted. I'll give it a test print and cut.

Also, for those that missed it, the ad is currently running in the Travesty on page 5 I think. It looks awesome. This is the summer issue of the Travesty and will be put in the hands of every incoming Freshman, or so I've been told.
