TROUPE(S) AND HOSTING NEEDED FOR THIS FRIDAY

Okay, so due to inevitable holiday atrophy and miscommunication, we need:

1 troupe for the Threefer
hosting help throughout the night.
POSSIBLY one troupe for the Double Barrel

Who can help host?

Send me a PM or email about performing. I'll try to let you know as soon as possible.

Oh, and if you've got a cagematch team you'd like to revive or a pet project you'd like to see in the threefer, feel free to PM me about that, too. I remember that not many troupes were available for this weekend, so it may be harder than usual to find people.

Okay, so it looks like we're going to need 2 additional people to help with hosting Friday. If you can only do one, that's fine, too. Just chime in.

I believe that a lot of people that were in town are already roped into the big event at Coldtowne.

Yeah, there's a couple of things I'm going to emphasize in the next round of availability:

double checking your availability
the roles and responsibilities of hosting (cleaning up is a biggy)
the fact that 4 people are needed for hosting each show.
the fact that hosting is what 'buys' you performance slots.
making sure that the team you're submitting for is the team that will be performing.

but maybe that's all a subject for a different thread. Right now I just need help.

If troupes who already committed to being at The Hideout have been "roped" into ditching their obligation, that's just plain rude and unacceptable.

Emergencies come up. Plans sometimes change. But troupes have been really bad lately about getting scheduled and then not showing up or showing up with some random improvisers to play the slot. Seriously, when we ask for availability, it means "check with everyone in your troupe to see if you can all make it", not "Do you think you can wrangle up some random people to make an appearance on this date."

Kareem, I was not suggesting that people were ditching their Hideout slot to do Coldtowne. I am suggesting it might be a little harder to find people because Coldtowne already did a mass emailing people to slot for their Friday night show.

Roy, if you need help, let me know. Right now I am slated for an 8pm at Coldtowne but I can swing by after if need be.

If we don't already do this...

...how about having the house manager do a check list of those people from the troupes who show up...a head count...whether hosting or performing.

Keep these lists. Apply to next scheduling.

Also, Massive is in fact coming to the Double Barrel, so we only need a troupe for the threefer.

Madeline is putting together a group to fill the open slot in the threefer.

So we just need a wee bit help hosting in the threefer, but I think we're mostly good.
