Waffle Fest is upon us!

Post by acrouch »

Hello! We've got six killer shows lined up. There are 15 sweet-ass troupes playing in five of those shows and 14 remarkable individuals in the Maestro on Saturday. We've also got a metric ton of volunteers to keep the waffles moving.

All we need now is the audience. Half the money from this thing goes to the AIC, so don't be shy about calling in favors. Go ahead:

*Invite people to the Facebook event http://utexas.facebook.com/event.php?eid=13854610133

*Myspace message your friends

*Send a notice to your troupe email list

*Email friends and family personally to come see your show

Thursday especially is going to be tough to fill, so do what you can to bring audience. When they're enjoying the delicious waffles, they'll thank you for it.

Wafflefest birthed PGraph into the world 2 years ago. Come spread the syrup-y joy of our afterbirth on all-you-can-eat waffles!

You work your life away and what do they give?

Then bury it in the backyard and plant a tree over it.

Holy fuck, what's up with the Dorian's Gray avatar, Crouch?
Sometimes it's a form of love just to talk to somebody that you have nothing in common with and still be fascinated by their presence.

Great Waffle Fest opening night! We had two solid crowds and two remarkably good shows. That means Friday and Saturday are going to be insane.

Bring it.

Thanks! It was crazy fun to do!

We set out to just focus on having a blast and making the audience feel the same. It got a bit chaotic at times, but I love so many different parts of that show. I think I was drunk on syrup and so was the audience. Actually, I saw the row behind you passing a flask back and forth. I don't think there was syrup in it unless it was bourbon syrup.

One word to describe our show: Whee!

The Starter Kit has officially hijacked (our secret word of the day) this thread.

Our show tonight was absolutely crazy and probably the most fun I've had on stage thus far. Waffle edits are the wave of the future. We were afraid to do them but Ann took charge and carried on.

I don't know if anything can top Shana ordering a "Brown Eye Surprise" though. That made my night.

Thanks P-graph! Thanks for being there and always being so supportive.

A little improv with my waffles please.

Thank you :)
