While this is about tonight's Cagematch, I'm putting this here because there haven't been any new posts on the Cagematch board since August 25.
That was one super fun show!
Late Night Lunch won and Mr. Rather came in second, but I honestly don't think there was a weak troupe. I know a 10 PM slot on Thursday is late for many people, but anyone who did not see tonight's show missed out on an all-around good show. I had a blast on stage as half of Mr. Rather, as I'm sure Orf did too, and it looked like everyone else also enjoyed themselves. After the show, I must have said about 20 times, "That was a really fun show."

Aden Kirchner, William Oakley and I!The Brigadier wrote:Who is Late Night Lunch?
Aden couldn't make it last night so Will and I had to win so Aden can play second round. We did it for you Aden!
...and I agree with Justin that last night's show was solid. Solid as a rock! Pshh!

Will Oakley and Eric Garcia.
Just hanging out, eating lunch, and talking about stuff, like race relations and whether doritos was a real word or not.
It was hilarious.

It was supposed to be Aden Kirschner, Eric Garcia, and Will I'msorryIdon'tknowyourlastname. Aden was out sick, but Eric and Will did a great job of improvising a funny conversation. That was probably the most "real" I've ever seen Eric be on stage, and it was funny. I've never seen Will on stage or even met him before, but I told him he had good timing and was clever in a good way.The Brigadier wrote:Who is Late Night Lunch?
For anyone who was there, here are a few questions that were left on the rope for Mr. Rather:
Own/be friends with any mythological being of your choice?
Be very aware that you are the target of assassins?
Be allowed to eat only one food for the rest of your life? (Nutrition is not an issue.)
Bring a loved one back to life?
Funny that none of the questions left had anything to do with sex considering the ones we had to answer.
For anyone who wasn't there, here are a few dilemmas we did tackle throughout the night:
Drink a quart of vanilla extract a day if you could fly under your own power?
Perform sexual intercourse with an alpaca or be able to live anywhere in the world you want, but never step foot in North America again? (This one morphed into have sex with the alpaca or live on top of it.)
Fly, but not be able to walk or always be right, but unloved?
There were a couple more pairings. I remember the conversations spawned from the dilemmas, but I can't remember what questions went with what other questions now.
