Yeah, Heroes of Comedy was listed as a choice specifically with that in mind. It's actually the closest to being a "company", in my opinion, since it produces shows with varying casts and specific runs. As to what Heroes is, and what it'll be going forward, that's a whole nuther thread, I think.

I thought the same thing about the company part. ColdTowne is a company to me too, and not a troupe.

By that definition above, ColdTowne is a "company," but we are also a troupe with five members.

ColdTowne = Troupe
ColdTowne Theater = Company

But does this distinction matter? And if so, why?

Nah, the distinction doesn't matter at all. For the purposes of voting, troupe = team = group = company = brigade.

I just thought the word 'company' was an interesting choice.
