--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

iOWest alums Martin Moakler and Brian O'Connell are collectively know as the comedy duo Affirmatron. Radio Free Hollywood is their podcast, ahem, "Affirmacast."

Affirmatron recently discovered there was a glaring need for a real, street-level resource for the working actor here in Hollywood. Well, we figured the best way to get that information is to go right to the source: The working actor.
And where better to find the working actor than right here in the iOWest community.

Recorded live in the bar on Saturday nights at the iOWest Theater, listen to the boys of Affirmatron talk about the opportunities at iOWest, interview celebrity and working actors and share nuggets of information (liberally sprinkled with personal anecdotes).

New Affirmacast posted every Wednesday.

This week's guest: Eric Edelstein (The Hills Have Eyes 2, ABC's Ugly Betty) and JT Naderski-Harrity (Mount Hill).

Next week's guest: Eric Hunnicutt (Trophy Wife, iOWest Training Center Director) and Scott Palmason (Opening Night: The Musical, Afternoon Delight, The Big Blue).

Notes:
-Brian O'Connell is a helluva a guy one half of troupe "Billy Miles" with improv bigwig Miles Stroth

-Eric Edelstein went through Second City with me; really great guy

-I haven't had time to listen to much of it, but the interview was pretty decent

I saw Eric Hunnicutt as one-half of F.O.I.L. at DSI and he was really good. He made me want to be a better actor.

Two-man show in the little theater with the shitty sightlines. Hunnicutt played, among other things, a fey pet store owner who was very judgmental about who deserved a cat and an overeager train robber whose desperation to be recognized on the street eventually got him shot in the head.
