B Sci-Fi Monster Horror(Mammal)= Night of the Lupus

Oh my god, do you mean Night of the Lepus? The one with the giant rabbits?
The dumbest premise EVER, and way before CGI, which I guess conceivably could have rendered giant rabbits menacing. As it was they just ate forests and loomed over houses and people, whiskers terrifyingly twitching.

I want to say that NotL was produced by Irwin Allen, who did The Poseidon Adventure and The Towering Inferno, but I could be wrong.

Haha yeah, come on how many other b movies have giant killer bunnies! The trailer is awesome it never tells you the plot.

I thought I remember Roadhouse being released when Swayze was way past being popular.

Awwww, he was before my time, but I thought for sure he'd been an A lister at some point.

Some investors bought the NatLamp name in the '90s, prompting most of the magazine's staff to quit. They put out the magazine with scabs for a while and then retired it, though I think they still have to publish an issue once or twice a year to maintain control of the name. I would guess it was around the time of the sale that the movies started changing.

It's a shame. That was a funny fucking magazine back in the day. They were probably doomed once the writing staff (including John Hughes, Harold Ramis, and Tony Hendra) figured out how much more money they could make in Hollywood , but sheesh.

I think the ending disqualifies it as noir. Also as good.

I couldn't agree more, Ratliff. I actually think that the first 2/3 of MR is one of my favorite sci-fi films ever made, but then the last 20 minutes is like some of my least favorite cinema ever.

Doubly agree... though there are some that argue the last piece of the film didn't actually occur... the ending is a hallucination within Cruise's character's mind as he's put into isolation since it's mentioned that when you're there, you only see what you want to see.
