Waffle Fest Availability

Post by acrouch »

Waffle Fest is happening on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (November 15,16,17). And it looks like we'll be having the annual AIC potluck and awards ceremony on that Sunday.

Show slots are limited, but we want to get all the main troupes and hopefully come up with a way to include anyone who's floating right now.

These are the troupes that I came up with off the top of my head as main troupes. Please remind me if I'm missing anyone:

The Frank Mills
ColdTowne
Available Cupholders
Get Up
Gigglepants
Girls Girls Girls
Improv for Evil
Junk
The Knuckleball Now
The Leading Brands
Parallelogramophonograph
You Me & Greg
$10 Bourbon
The new troupe Wes and Christina just put together
Starter Kit
Look Cookie
Midnight Society

So please email or PM me with your troupe's availability for the following slots.

Thursday 8:00pm
Thursday 10:00pm
Friday 8:00pm
Friday 10:00pm
Saturday 8:00pm
Saturday 10:00pm

Is your plan to have 3fers? & 2-fers?
(ie. 8p=3fer; 10p=2fer; 15 slots total)

Also, I'm hungry for some Austin Improv waffles!

It is my understanding that You Me & Greg is no longer an active troupe. Their OOB show was a reunion show.

Unless they want the slot or somethin'.

If anyone has room to let me play with them, please let me know. No hard feelings if there aren't.

I keep teasing my troupemates by saying I'll make red beans and rice, but I can't find a time when we're all available for it other than rehearsals. Maybe I should hold off until this. Although, I could make a giant batch of down, home, Southern fried chicken. Or some delicious, spicy jerk chicken wings. It's a good thing I'm eating right now or I would've made myself hungry.

I have no idea what that's a picture of, but I want to see it. In a funny, improv way and a late night Cinemax viewing way. Whichever happens first.

We're strongly considering it. It gives us a place to include people that are troupeless but still awesome.

So far we have:

The Frank Mills
Junk
$10 Bourbon
IFE
Pgraph
Starter Kit
Wes, Christina, Christie, Erik and Shawn's new troupe
Midnight Society
Get Up
The Knuckleball Now
The Smoking Arm (the new Harold Troupe)
Les McGeehee Plays Well With Waffles (the NCT crew)
Girls Girls Girls
Look Cookie

I'm working on getting availability from ColdTowne and Gigglepants.

It looks like we'll do five Threefers (two on Thursday and Friday, one on Saturday) and an all-star Maestro (which will give priority to troupeless improvisers, and then a player from as many troupes as we have room for.)
