Best Sequels Ever!

Post by sara farr »

Can you think of some films where the sequel matched, or surpased, the original?

Aliens
Terminator 2
Empire Strikes Back

Will they all be Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Horror?

Dawn of the Dead
The Lord of the Rings:The Two Towers & The Return of the King
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Ernest Saves Christmas

I'd just liked to state for the record that I find Scared Stupid to be more enjoyable than Saves Christmas.

Spider-Man 2

Paradise Lost II totally sucked!

I used to live in Jonesboro, AR and worked at KAIT, the tv station where most of that footage comes from.

You know, I've never seen SpiderMan 2. Or 3.

Addams Family Values.

I don't know why, but Christina Ricci just had me in stitches in this one.

X-Men 2: Wolverine finally goes Wolverine

Lethal Weapon 2 was good, I don't know if I'd go as far as improving on the original though...

and for my silly answer, Troll 2...Come on it's the worst movie ever made that alone makes it cooler than the original.

Awww, really? But it had so much more about Mark Byers, and stuff about the bite marks! In my opinion, it was least as good as the first. What did you not like about the footage?
