Personal Taste

Post by DollarBill »

I think if I learned anything from OOB6 it's that personal taste is a pretty major trump card. There were shows that may have been more "skillfully" performed than others that did not make me laugh as much. Plenty of times I thought "now that's funny" or "wow, that was smart", but the stuff I actually laugh at is entirely different. So there's that.

Any specifics you care to share?

Yeah, Bill, tell us the groups who made you laugh even though they weren't skillful!

It'd better be dark chocolate unless you enjoy sleeping on the couch.

Not like that. don't get me into trouble here, Ratliff.

I meant that elaborating might serve the purpose of this forum section.

Here I just wanted Loob's line back in the spotlight for a moment. I think it's funny.

I really thought Silver City Pink was a pretty flawless show. It was great ensemble. Hilarious, playful, and yes, great improv technique, but the playful funny nature of all the performers was what made me laugh.

Also, Edi Patterson cracked me up in everything she was in.
