It's like a weird sort of guitar harp keyboard combo thing that has a few set background beats you can play behind your own strumming.beardedlamb wrote:does that thing actually play music or is it just kind of close to pleasant to listen to? that's all i've really witnessed, which, granted has not been a lot.
It plays music.
Is it pleasant? I don't know. I got it because it's crazy weird.
If you know what chords you should be playing, it's dead simple to strum in key.beardedlamb wrote:does that thing actually play music or is it just kind of close to pleasant to listen to? that's all i've really witnessed, which, granted has not been a lot.

Cody, I can spell you on bass if you get tired or thirsty.

I play the trumpet...badly, and I own a bass I don't know how to play. I also love to sing and improvise. Perhaps I could help with backup vocals if you've got a full cast already.

If you need someone on a triangle that plays a d-note (and backup vocals), I got your back. (I'm completely serious, too! - http://www.myspace.com/dangerville)
If someone hadn't snagged Patrick Elkins' nose-whistle, I'd have your back on that, too.
Also, the Omnichord is awesome!
Britney from Transistor Radio Sound (Denver - http://www.myspace.com/transistorradiosound - and her solo project http://www.myspace.com/marriedinberdichev) uses one. I saw her at a house show in Phoenix and

superb.

Whoops - that should actually be http://www.myspace.com/dangervilleimprov . The other Dangerville is a rockabilly band with no sign of a triangle player - their loss.jose wrote:(I'm completely serious, too! - http://www.myspace.com/dangerville)
