I meant to drop this note right after OOB 2006 and things just slipped away.
So, let's step into this time machine and go back nearly a year!

OOB 2006 was awesome and I had a great time. Though I wasn't performing with a group that was officially invited (I was just passing through with the Remainders on the way back from Toronto), you all made sure that we were having a great time and treated us with great kindness & warmth. That was awesome!
Thanks to the whole Austin improv community - you definitely have something special going on here and it was great to experience it first hand.
So, thanks to everyone who was a part of OOB 2006!
Special thanks go to Dave & Rachel for driving me around to some of the parties that one night. I think we even stopped by a grocery store for some libations and whatnot beforehand.
Extra special big-time shout out to ColdTowne for letting us live with them for a week and for being amazing people. Your generosity will always be aflame in our memory and we'll always be there to return the favor! Love you!

So, now I'm in Austin again, visiting for a few weeks. Thanks again to ColdTowne for being the squad of all squads.
One of my best memories of the past year was being at Gila Monster Improv Festival back in February. A chunk of Galapagos and a chunk of ColdTowne combined to create Team GalapaTowne for a mighty, might Flipcup battle.
Mark, a member of Galapagos, who decided to sit out and drink alcohol at a sensible pace, saw us come out of the Flipcup arena hoisting drinks and chanting & cheering.
Mark asked if we had one our match.
Someone from Team GalapaTowne simply replied, no, and we went back to cheering and chanting.
That my friends, sums of the experience that is Team GalapaTowne - it's a quirky little love. We're the Johnny 5 of humans and we are indeed alive.
As for the rest of you folks, I can't wait to catch up with those I met last year and I can't wait to meet everyone I either missed or that have just popped up in the past year. Can't wait to play with y'all!
