Software company Community TechKnowledge announces the 5-7-5 Haiku Grant Program, which celebrates the creativity, passion, and commitment that nonprofit organizations bring to their work and to our community.
All registered 501 c 3 organizations in the Austin area are invited to submit the haiku that best expresses the "heart" of their service to the community. $11,000 will be awarded over 4 nonprofit categories, including health and human services, arts, environmental concerns, and animal welfare.
An Awards Ceremony will take place on September 27, 6:30PM – 9:00 PM at The Bob Bullock Texas History Museum with Senator Kirk Watson emceeing.

Are we a non-profit, technically?
I used to work for CTK. That was the setting for the infamous Lone Star Firing of '05
They liked me, though. I got laid off because they were running out of money. So, I should probably be the one to officially submit this if we are eligible.
I think the only way we can be eligible is through our association with ACOT. The qualifications are pretty strict:
