I know you do a lot for the community in lots of different ways, but the Hideout needs you to come and love it a little this weekend. There was a great sense of community at the first Hideout appreciation day -- let's see if we can make it happen again.

I'll be there Saturday. Might be there a bit on Sunday, too.

Let's get a concrete list of what's got to get done and a shopping list so we can get to it as 11am.

Projects will include:
-Cleaning everything (floors, walls, stages, backstages, shelves, etc.)
-Organizing the greenroom
-Throwing out a bunch of crap
-Organizing props and stuff under the upstairs risers
-Replacing bulbs for the lighting instruments upstairs and down
-Adjusting the light plots upstairs and down
-Painting an awesome sign/logo in the front entryway (like Coldtowne's awesome boxer guys)
-Revamping the box office
-Painting everything black that is now scuffed grey
-Painting the awesome benches Bob A. made.
-Making new buttons for Maestro
-Painting signage outside of the downstairs theater and upstairs entrance to draw attention to the fact that there are actually theaters in the Hideout
-Sewing new curtains for the downstairs theater
-Making the downstairs greenroom nice
-Putting more pictures on the stairwell walls
-Making a couch that eats people

And many more. Suggestions?

Should we bother with the lights? Ace is going to come in and do them over for OoB anyway.
Similarly, should we paint if OoB has some crazy color scheme in mind and will have to paint again 2 weeks after the Appreciation Day?

Lambert! Chime in!

I would love to add "Fix the upstairs toilet" to the list. This is more wishlist, but I'd also love "Make the downstairs mens room not smell like concentrated pee/amonia."

I came to the thread to post both of these.

Well, just to get a handle on stuff, Andy do you know what is wrong with the toilet? I've never really asked -- is it leaking? or stopped up? If we know what it is we can probably bring the right tools/books and fix this ourselves without having to rely on a plumber. Or pay a plumber.

Also, Andy, thanks for fixing the AC stuff recently. It felt great in there last weekend.

I third on the restroom. Not to beat a dead horse, but the bathroom upstairs looks like a dead horse. The one downstairs smells like a dead horse.

I'll have to check my schedule, but I'll be there to help in one or more time slots.
