I need the exact wording of those signs on the Golden Gate Bridge that say "don't jump! call the suicide hotline!"

That's the sign, alright. I hear there are also emergency phones on the bridge, too.
There's a documentary about how the Golden Gate bridge is the ultimate suicide spot, with about one person jumping every few days or so. If the impact into the water doesn't kill you, drowning with a bunch of broken bones will, and if that doesn't kill you, the sharks will, and if that doesn't kill you, internal bleeding will.
They really ought to install a safety net under the bridge.

I saw this last year... I liked it alright, but I think it IS a little exploitative...they're basically stalking the bridge, hoping for someone to jump so they can catch it.scook wrote:"The Bridge" is the documentary, and it is, in my opinion, pretty fantastic. It was no more exploitative than an episode of Dateline or 48 Hours, in fact I found it far less so.
