A little help please:
My back has been giving me extra trouble lately, so I want to get back into doing yoga.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a yoga studio that is inexpensive and near where I live (E 17th, betw. Airport and I-35)?
Thanks.

Dang it. None of those times work for me. At least not for the next week. Perhaps after that.acrouch wrote:I have inexpensive yoga around 12th and Lamar. Extremely good yoga. No bullshit.

PM me and I'll drag you along this week.
I'd like to find something with a 7am-ish class.

they have hatha (what people think of when they think yoga), ashtanga (the heated one), kundalini (involves chanting).
the teachers serve you yogi tea after class.

First one is free. Monthly is $85 for unlimited classes. Unless you're cheap enough to claim to be a student, and then you pay $100 a semester (fall, spring, summer). They're real laid back/disorganized about the money side of it. It's at the Austin Rec Center with a big Turkish guy named Bekir. Bekir is a character and not for everyone, but I love love love his yoga.
I'd do yoga at Coldtowne. What time?York99 wrote:That's 3 of us, which makes a quorum. ColdTowne Theater is now a yoga studio.
