March 24

Post by beardedlamb »

People. Here's some early promo for this coming weekend.

VIDEO INTEGRATION IDEA
in the march 24th three-fer the cupholders are going to present their latest experimental form. it has no title and doesn't require one. as a three man ensemble, we will also throw a locked down camera and lots of paper and markers into the mix. whilst one of us is drawing stuff to be projected, the other two will improvise. to really sweeten the deal, we have decided to not rehearse it on purpose to keep it super fresh. so, come check it out, won't you?

THE PLAY FRMT
in the march 24th style show, the cupholders will be lumped with the cast of parallelogramophonograph for a format developed years ago by well hung jury. we'll be improvising the process of producing and rehearsing a play showing bits of each step from auditions, to the first read-thru, to a rehearsal, up to opening night. in each stage showing more of the story of the play. this improvised play within an improvised play is called the play frmt. it's hard to describe. this format debuted to no reviews and an audience of 12 on the 2002 Chicago Improv Festival's Fringe Stage. it's been awesome ever since.

in addition, bill's girlfriend (we'll call her milkshake) will be filming a documentary for our little mini tour. be sure to find her and make her job difficult.

also, on saturday, i'll be guesting in The Great Mundane's episode 4 show, apparently dying from some viral infection or amibiguos good/bad guy named Dr. Nefarious.

then i'm going to pass out from traveling and meeting with people and performing. hope to see you somewhere along the way.

I want to say it's a crown, but I think it'd be funny if it was a cheesey wrestling champion's belt.

A) Wrestling belts are not cheesy, they are prestigous and meaningful
B) If it is a belt, I'm still going to buy my own as soon as I get enough money. Fuck rent, bills, and food. I've wanted one since I was a kid.
MARK ME. THIS HAS BEEN MY DREAM.

Yay!

Jeremy's gift is a video camera.

Or perhaps a miniature kitchen sink.

OR NOTHING, and then we can make everything from it...
