The Austin Improv Collective is now looking for your availability for Fridays in July and August. Please forward this e-mail to anyone you feel might need it.
Please send in your troupe's availability by sending me a PM or e-mailing me at ROY AT JANIK.ORG

In this message:

1. AVAILABLE DATES
We are seeking availability for the following dates:
July 6, July 13, July 20, July 27
August 3, August 10, August 17, August 24
Note that Thursday Night Awesome no longer exists. Also note that the Cagematch is now scheduled directly by Chris Trew and Eric Seufert. So this e-mail applies only to The Threefer Madness and The Double Barrel.
Please try and make your troupe as available as possible. The last scheduling round was made rather difficult by the fact that most troupes had extremely specific scheduling requirements.
2. INFORMATION TO PROVIDE
Please provide answers to the following questions when replying. Try to keep the numbered list format intact so that e-mails can be processed as quickly as possible.
1. Name of troupe
2. Contact's name
3. Contact's phone number
4. Contact's email address
5. Which time slots/shows are your troupe’s preferences.
6. Ideally, how many shows would your troupe prefer to schedule over the two months.
7. Which dates your troupe will be available to perform
8. Which dates your troupe will be available host.
9. (optional) a brief (4-5 sentence) description of the troupe for use on websites and other promotional material
10. (optional) a link to a high-quality photo of your troupe for use on websites and other promotional material
11. (optional) your troupe's website/myspace, whatever.

For example, here's a response from a fictional troupe, Team Awesome:
1. Team Awesome
2. Adam T. Awesome
3. 555-AWSM

5. Team Awesome prefers Threefer Madness slots, but we'll take anything.
6. We'd love to perform in up to 3 shows.
7. We're available to perform on any day in July.
8. We're available to host on any Friday , but would prefer August 24th.
9. description: Team Awesome is made up of Austin's most experienced imaginary improvisers. With a combined 200 years of made-up experience, Team Awesome promises to shock and awe audiences with their bombardment of call-backs, quick edits, and amusing facial expressions. Team Awesome recently won the Austin Chronicle's 2006 award for best Novelty Band, which confused everyone involved.

Well, I'm not 100% sure they're going with it, but it's a tentative name of the newest troupe to come out of the ColdTowne auditions... the other contender was It's Full of Cobras.shando wrote:Dr. Clobber? Who's that? that's an awesome name.
But I agree. I love the name Dr. Clobber. If they don't use it, I'm totally stealing it.

Bump. Still looking for availability from:
Vertigo Ramp
Dr. Clobber (or whatever they're called now)
Also, thanks to everyone who heeded the call to be more flexible in terms of available dates this time around. Scheduling is going to be so much easier (and better) this time.
