You see robot, I see monster.

You see team you like, I see team with what, four winning seasons in their entire history in a not too tough division who got all over-hyped last year for obvious reasons. Bring on the season.

Edited to concur with one of Arthur's assertions--having the record for most carries in a season is a stupid record to have. Especially to not win a playoff game.

I'll take the skeletons of The Pelicans over the Royals.

Ah yeah, don't even get started on the pathetic shadow of a team the Royals hvae become since Brett retired. The Bad News Bears could beat them.

It only hurts if you suspect it's true. See my reaction to Arthur's original declaration for an example.

Some saints fans were onboard with the coming-back-from-katrina inspirational story that the national press ran with, but most saints fans follow the real story:

Sean Payton, creative playcaller with gravitas
Drew Brees, consistent leader, best QB in NFC
Reggie Bush in his second year (!), tandem with solid vet Deuce
Saints defense strengthened
Some seriously insightful talent scouts that keep getting us great depth in small-school draft picks

after years and years saints fans feel like real winners, not just beneficiaries of one lucky season. we're gonna brag and brag and brag! take it!!!

Hey, I'd agree you guys have a better shot than my guys of doing something interesting this year. But last year no one knew that was coming. This year there will also be some surprises. And if you guys don't make it, I'm gonna laugh and laugh at you for bringing it up in the first place. You take it, smack-talking shitstirrer.

Fun playing with you last night, by the way.

Football & boxing are for creepy cowards who live out their violent tendancies vicariously through watching GODS beating the crap out of eachother. Instead of living their life courageously fighting injustice with their own two hands, they cower behind the rules of society where they live in fear for their own lives.

I do not hide behind my mask. I wear it to scare the crap out of the villians who pick on poor, weak fools who leave themselves open to attack. And instead leaving the job for others to do on your behalf, you should do the same!

All of you!! Stop WATCHING and DO SOMETHING! Go out and use your body-slamming power to play football. Box the crap out of each other and get it out of your system instead of feeding a corrupt industry that does it for you while you sit around getting complacent! We'd all be better for it.
