Jason Vines slaps his cheeks, mouth agape, and proceeds to run around the Hideout and Coldtowne Theaters in slightly sped-up motion.

Are there any show cancellations because so many will be out of town for this?

I hope not. There are no Hideout shows the following weekend (June 1st). Plus, Curtis Needs a Ride from Fort Worth is playing in the Double Barrel on the 25th. It'd be pretty shitty to cancel on them.

Speaking of, there's still an opening in the May 25th Double Barrel for an enterprising troupe who wants it. Contact me.

Would there be a problem if we changed the formatting of the program every once in a while to adapt to these kind of circumstances. I think we are so used to doing three groups in the threefer or a minimum of 10 people in Micetro that we forget that we are improvisers.

Have two groups perform longer sets in the threefer, or maybe have them do a jam after the second set. and move the third group to the double barrel. Or have a group perform twice in one night, there will be different audiences so it should not matter. Do Micetro with 6 people and play with the format to accomodate it.

There is easily enough quality improvisers to make up for the lack of quantity over one weekend.

Yeah, these are all valid options, and something like that may need to be done for the May 25th Double Barrel.
